Reinventing Denver's Flavor
Restaurateur Biju Thomas launched a new take on Indian cuisine. Drawing upon notes from the Goa region of India, Biju offers up healthier bowls of powerful Indian flavors minus the usual heavy sauces. In keeping with this different approach he also wanted a brand that felt Indian but bucked the regular clichés. A logo has already been created by Denver based ‘Shike Design’ but the branding needed to be fully fleshed out to support the initial logo. Using Indian street art, rickshaw art, comics and truck art as a source of inspiration we developed a look that is unique to Biju’s. The restaurant has received rave reviews and become a popular local eating spot in the RiNo district of Denver, Colorado. The mural we created inside the restaurant has become the ‘Instagram’ spot for photos. And the tee shirt we created was recently worn by a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel show.
